Understanding Pranic Healing

Pranic Healing is an energy practice that works with the circulation of energy at different levels.

I sometimes use it on its own, and sometimes alongside acupuncture, depending on what feels relevant.

The language is different from acupuncture, but the idea is quite similar: noticing where things flow well, where they feel blocked and where rebalancing may be needed.

The aura and chakras are the reference points used in this method. They belong to the Pranic Healing model and are not a description of medical anatomy.

A method developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui

Modern Pranic Healing was developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui in the Philippines.

His teachings later spread internationally and are now practised in more than 120 countries.

Chakras as roundabouts

I often explain chakras as large roundabouts in the body.

Think of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Several major roads meet there. If traffic gets blocked in the middle, the problem does not stay at the roundabout. It starts affecting the roads around it too.

In Pranic Healing, chakras are understood a bit like that. They are seen as centres of energetic circulation connected to different areas and functions of the body.

The idea is not to look at one point in isolation, but at the circulation as a whole.

What can it support?

Pranic Healing can be used on its own or alongside another approach.

  • Fatigue
  • Stress
  • Tension
  • Emotional overload
  • Feeling blocked
  • Need for grounding / recentering
  • Difficulty finding momentum again
  • Overall energetic support

Pranic Healing does not replace a medical diagnosis or ongoing medical care.

In person, at a distance or alongside acupuncture

In person or at a distance

Sessions can take place in person or at a distance.

They generally last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

For a distance session, you simply need to be somewhere calm and available. There is nothing particular you need to do on your side.

Alongside acupuncture

Pranic Healing and acupuncture are two different approaches.

I may sometimes use both in the same session when it feels relevant, and always with your agreement.
